Literature Text

I stand here in the water
My eyes staring back at me
The clear water's surface reflects growth
But I see my own reflections of yuou

Was it fate that we met?
Were we blinded then by our childish ignorance?
Has that same fate torn us apart?
Will I ever see your honest eyes
Beyond my memory?

I think of you,
Wherever you may be
As I lay tangled in my chains of memory
I only wonder...
Are you there, thinking of me?

As the sunset paints the sky
The warmth of day begins to fade
Just like my youthood dreams
Stars shine through the golden glow
Like a sparkle in your eyes

And I wonder...
Are we staring at the same star?
Should I whisper a silent wish
That that star will guide you to me?
Until then I let the waves of the blissful memory
Wash slowly over me
All I can do is dream of you
In a world without you
To be honest, this is Kingdom Hearts inspired. I beat CoM, and the whole time Sora was (insert spoiler for end of CoM), I kept thinking about how Kairi was wondering where he was, missing him more and more every day. I wrote this at the beginning of seventh grade as an example of my writing, so KH2 hadn't come out yet. Either way, I hope you can find some relavence to KH... And if not, pretend it's just two random teenagers who are romantically involved... lol.

EDIT- I really like this poem, and I want my crappy KH writing to be noticed. XD FEATURED!

:D This was quite touching. I can somewhat relate, mostly to the third and last paragraph but also to the piece as a whole.

I'm new to the KairixSora pairing and feel this piece fits it well, although I've never actually played CoM. XD But it was still very touching nonetheless and flowed so well it was a definite fave after the first few lines.

I believe the last paragraph about whispering a silent wish was what urged me to add this piece to my faves all the more. Great work! :)
